DZ Doodles Bouquets, Topiaries, and Other Spring Project Ideas!

Hello doodle followers!

Spring is a wonderful time; the air is fresh, temperatures are pleasant, plants are growing and blooming, and the birds are chirping ... gosh I can hardly wait! The anticipation of Valentine's Day always seems to set the whole "flower," floral theme in motion. Inspired by color and flowers, these simple projects and new techniques will help put you in the mood for a cheery spring arrival!

Ultrafine Art Glitter Bouquet Relief makes a great spring decoration for home accents, card projects or scrapbook pages with its sparkly bright colors and cheery shaped flowers! Get the materials list and directions HERE.

Whether it's a moment for "love in the air," tea party time, Mom's Day (or birthday), a gift for a friend or someone who needs a "...feeling better" lift, this burst of bright silk flowers affixed atop a delicately-painted teapot creates an exquisite topiary centerpiece! Get the materials list and directions HERE. Peonies and tulips harmonize beautifully with green leaves! A green-and-white scheme is easy on the eyes and perfect for spring entertaining; viburnum, French tulips, lisianthus, and roses!

Silk roses suspended over a vintage teacup creates a strikingly beautiful tableaux. This topiary will be especially lovely at springtime gatherings! Get the materials list and directions HERE. Small silk blooms, such as hydrangeas and grape hyacinths or lily-of-the-valley, that matches the scale of the cups, make for a supremely simple arrangement!

Easy Molasses Sticky Buns! "Oh yum." What family wouldn't be drawn out of bed in the morning smelling these ooey-gooey caramel rolls baking in the oven?! Nancy Foust's tender treats recipe looks as delicious as they taste! Just log in or join HERE to acquire Taste of Homes recipes!
Ric-Rack Rose Hair Clips?! Barb Schram's "first try" hair clip discussion at Explore.Dream.Discover. blog found her inspiration over on Pinterest and followed the blog instructions which she has posted for you to follow as well! Using brooch back pins instead of hair clips would easily convert this project into apparel accents.

Stamp 'n Stitch? Well I'll be, a combination of two crafts I enjoy doing! I accidentally came across this and thought I'd share the video and a sample booklet from Leisure Arts to give you some simple ideas. All you do is stamp your Aida or linen fabric with ink, let it dry, cross stitch the charted image you've selected for your project, embellish, frame, and you're done!

Homespun Pincushions are a nifty project that pairs up fabric scraps and heart-shaped cookie cutters! My thought is, if you cut out a piece of foam board into a heart shape, attached with glue a narrow strip of sturdy card stock to create the outer shape of the foam board cut out, you would get the same results as using a cookie cutter. To reinforce the card stock strip I would apply glue to it and allow to dry thoroughly before proceeding to the fabric application. Get the materials list and instructions HERE.

Thought I'd remind you that with the convenience of My Avon on line shopping it's never been easier for you and I to meet up, and for you to view Avon's Campaign eBrochures daily needs, fragrance, skin care and color cosmetic deals, specials and savings being offered - very often with free shipping available! Registering at My Avon Store doesn't require you to make a purchase. It simply is a convenient way for you to receive Campaign eBrochures to browse at your leisure, so you won't miss a thing!
