Scrapbooking paper decoupaged onto a Dollar Tree Store candle holder. Accented with a decorative key to complete the look. A decor project from CREATED BY JESS. I'm thinking party candlelight accent pieces, especially weddings!

You've heard me calling myself a felt-fanatic, although I haven't been doing much with the stuff over the past several years, this is an inspirational place for me to venture onto - Wee Folks Art Market Place (it's new and look forward to it's growth) ... it's a fun place for not only ideas but crafting supplies, fibers, project packs and kits, art supplies, tools and more.

This is an awesome "favorite" recipe for Banana Cream Chocolate Chip Muffins that are enjoyed weekly in our house and know that once you make them, you'll enjoy them just as much as we do!! 15 Easy Duck Tape Projects (RRP $8.99) created by ShurTech Brands - the makers of Duck Tape, is filled with fun and imaginative items to create!

AND here's an update on "my" progress on the chandeleir project from last post using the template that was available ... I've used 3/4" foam board, cutting the template with my craft knife and #11 blade! I had to guesstimate the circular band you'll see danglinging around the top portion; 4-inch outer cut and 1-3/4 inch inner circle. To hold the "five" arms in place I carefully attached them together using a small amount of scotch tape. After measuring the distance of each arm to be equal, I used a tooth pick with glue on it and carefully ran it, both inside and outside, up and down where they were touching, letting it dry over night. At this point the circular piece isn't attached because I have something else planned. I'll continue to update you on my progress! :0)

This old book, turned altered art is simple to create and accented with different pieces of grunge paper, pop cans, washers, and a spinner, and the "gears" embossing folder. A beautiful Father's Day gift-idea done with details of love by Laura of Laura's Papercuts and Paintings, and I just had to share it! Now to find an "electrical" themed book for my father, to start making one for him!

Jewelry is usually kept in a cute box and very often we forget we have this or that to wear. But for those who are more artistic and love sculptural objects here is a lovely idea for all these objects that a woman needs to use every day ... the artistic DIY JEWELRY BUST! No-no-no, you really don't need all the wood and heavy equipment to create your own bust ... instead think about using a thick sheet of foam board, available in different sizes and thickness at many craft and hobby stores, at least 12" x 17" (preferably two pieces cut and layers glued together), ample #11 craft knife blades and craft knife handle, sandpaper, decoupage, paint-ink-stamps-etc., pencil paint brush, cutting mat. Print out the PDF bust template included in the post -- the final dimensions of the bust should be 11" at its widest point and 17" tall. Cut out the template and trace onto your piece of foam board (twice) using a pen or pencil!

You're thinking the same thing I am ... I have a felt collection that needs to be used up as well and the poinsettia example is just one of those ideas to get started on using some of it up! And I'm thinking other flowers as well! :0)
